Spain Begin Training Camp Aiming to Seal World Cup Qualification
Spain’s national team began their final training camp of 2025 this Monday, with the goal of confirming their qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will take place in Canada, Mexico, and the United States from Thursday, 11 June to Sunday, 19 July 2026.
Currently leading Group E with a perfect record, Spain face their final two qualifying fixtures against Georgia and Turkey.
Open Training Session This Tuesday at the Ciudad del Fútbol
The 26 players called up by Luis de la Fuente are now based in Las Rozas, where they are preparing for the decisive international double-header. The squad will remain at the Ciudad del Fútbol until Thursday, when they will travel to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
Spain will face the home side on Saturday, 15 November, at 18:00 (CET) at the Boris Paichadze National Stadium.
The team will then conclude their qualifying campaign on Tuesday, 18 November, hosting Turkey at 20:45 at La Cartuja Stadium in Seville. Spain currently top Group E with 12 points, three ahead of Turkey, while Georgia sit on three points and Bulgaria remain without a win.
The Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas will open its doors this Tuesday for fans wishing to watch their heroes up close during the team’s first training session of the camp. The session will begin at 19:00, with access starting one hour earlier, free of charge and subject to venue capacity.
