The Spanish delegation landed in London this afternoon, where they will face England in 48 hours’ time in their third World Cup qualifying match, as they continue their push for a place at the 2027 tournament in Brazil.
The match will take place at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday at 20:00, in what promises to be another high-profile encounter between two of the leading forces in international women’s football.
After just over two hours in the air, the squad touched down at London Luton Airport shortly after 18:30 local time before travelling to their team hotel, where they will remain based until matchday.
