Squad Numbers Confirmed for the FIFA World Cup
The players selected by head coach Luis de la Fuente now know the numbers they will wear throughout the competition as Spain sets its sights on winning a second World Cup title and adding another star to the shirt.
Spain's Group Stage Schedule
Spain have been drawn into Group H as one of the tournament's seeded nations and will face Cape Verde, Saudi Arabiaand Uruguay.
La Roja will begin their World Cup campaign on Monday, 15 June, against Cape Verde in Atlanta.
Their second group-stage fixture will take place six days later, on Sunday, 21 June, when they meet Saudi Arabia at the same venue.
Spain will conclude the group stage against Uruguay in Guadalajara on 26 June local time (27 June in Spain), with qualification for the knockout rounds on the line.
Final Preparations Before Departure
Before crossing the Atlantic, Spain will play two warm-up fixtures as part of their final preparations for the tournament.
The first takes place on 4 June at Estadio de Riazor against Iraq, offering supporters one final opportunity to see the national team in action on home soil before the World Cup.
Following their arrival in North America, Spain will play a second preparatory match against Peru at Estadio Cuauhtémocin Puebla, Mexico, on 9 June.
