The Dream Lives On for the 20 Teams in the Preliminary Round
The clubs that progress from this two-legged stage of the MAPFRE Copa del Rey will face a First Division side in the following round.
Twenty teams from regional divisions, twenty ambitions to be fulfilled in Spain’s most traditional competition, and twenty matches now set with their official schedules.
For the first time, the preliminary round of the MAPFRE Copa del Rey will be played over two legs and during the weekend, further heightening the excitement among the players and their supporters as they strive to reach the first official round—and earn the chance to welcome a top-flight club in the next stage.
