The international goalkeeper was congratulated by his teammates at the Ciudad del Fútbol on Sunday.

"My birthday always falls on dates when there is a break and now I can finally celebrate it here"Álex Remiro told his teammates on Sunday, when the Navarre goalkeeper blew out his candles to mark his 29th birthday.

A very special date for the goalkeeper, which comes just two days after making his debut with the Spanish national team, playing the second half of the friendly match against Colombia at the Olympic Stadium in London.

"I hope that we maintain the great group we have and that the good vibes continue", said the Spanish international to his team-mates, with whom he is preparing for next Tuesday's big game against Brazil at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Remiro, who on Friday became the 15th player to make his debut for Spain since last year, will return to training on Monday along with the 26 players who make up the current squad.
