All eyes on England
Before travelling to London, the Spanish stars trained under the orders of Montse Tomé this Monday morning at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. During the session, the national team worked intensively on both physical and tactical aspects with eyes on the upcoming England match.
In what is the second game of the UEFA Women's Nations League qualifiers, the national team will be looking to maintain their lead in Group A3 after beating Belgium. The squad are looking to continue their strong start against England, who were held to a draw by Portugal in their opening match. This match is a repeat of the World Cup final between Australia and New Zealand and will be played at the emblematic stadium that is Wembley.
It was not to be the only training session of the day, as Spain also held a second session in the afternoon. Tomorrow they will head to the British capital for the official pre-match training session and press conference at the match venue.
