England our opponents for the trophy

The 17th edition of the UEFA European Championships now has its two finalists in the shape of Spain and England, setting up a first-ever continental title match between two World Cup winning nations.

Following Spain's spectacular win over France in Munich on Tuesday, England followed up in Dortmund on Wednesday with an injury-time winner from Oliie Watkins to break the deadlock against the Netherlands.

Gareth Southgate's side are through to their second successive European Championships final after finishing runners-up last time out and, like Spain, going unbeaten this time around.

With the last UEFA Nations League double-header in 2018, Spain and England, the footballing heavyweights, will contest the final on Sunday 14 July at 21:00 (CET) in Berlin's Olympic Stadium.
