Fighting bullying - Support for disability - Football for reintegration, Spain promote social issues in Georgia match in Valladolid

A number of RFEF initiatives will be run at the Spain Georgia match to promote social inclusion, such as, for example, the narration of the match for the visually impaired

Not only the players but teenagers and children fighting against bullying in Spain, victims of bullying and influencers supporting the good causes will also be some of the stars of the Spain match against Georgia next Sunday in Valladolid. The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), supported by UEFA, has organised  “Executive Box 0” to help fight against this social problem and will bring together these different people with the aim of raising awareness of this social issue.

The internationals Morata, Williams and Gavi have joined this campaign by starring in a video where they highlight the need to denounce such inexcusable behaviour. In Executive Box 0 of the José Zorrilla Stadium will be the students and tutors from the Virgen Niña school in Valladolid, the school is an example of the successful fight for change with their Social Outreach Programme or Tutorials Between Equals initiative, which aims to eliminate bullying and violence in schools.

Together with them, Chiqui Ibai, a very young influencer who was also a victim of bullying and wanted to collaborate with this initiative in order to help other victims of bullying, as well as autistic children, a group that suffers bullying more than others (more than 71 percent of autistic people have experienced this issue, according to data from Autismo España.

This initiative will be coupled with three others that will be run around the match, as part of the federation's commitment to social progress and advancement, among which is the narration for the visually impaired, who can now follow the match through the RFEF app available in the Apple Store and Google Play ("RFEF Narration for blind people").

In addition, volunteers from the ONCE Foundation will once again provide essential support at the match, both for setting up the central banner and for accompanying other people with disabilities.

Previously, in Dueñas prison, former internationals Juan Carlos and Estebaranz brought hope and motivation of a better future to the inmates of this prison, with their work based on reintegration and as part of the programme developed by the RFEF's Department of Equality, Social Responsibility and Sustainability in Spanish prisons.
