On Monday 1 June, the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas saw the start of the training camp for a Spain team that is going for their fourth (#APorLaCuarta) European Championships Trophy in Germany.
A lot of work and excitement ahead for a national team that is scheduled to hold its first training session on Monday afternoon, an event that will be open to all fans to come along and watch..
Coach Luis de la Fuente has today greeted the 23 players who have reported for duty with the Spain squad so far. However, Real Madrid players Dani Carvajal, Nacho Fernández and Joselu Mato are still training with their clubs in the build up to the Champions League final and will join the team over the coming few days.

Centre-back Aymeric Laporte is also due to report for duty late considering his participation in the Saudi Arabian Cup final. In addition, the Navarrese duo of Mikel Merino and Nico Williams will not join the squad from day one due to family reasons.
Ahead, four days of work at the Ciudad del Fútbol before the first warm-up match against Andorra in Badajoz and then another chance to test the squad next week against Northern Ireland in Mallorca.
