France are Spain's opponents in Nations League semi-finals

After defeating the Netherlands in a penalty shoot-out, Spain have secured their place in the final four of the Nations League for the third time in a row.

France, opponents in the final in Milan (2021), are the next hurdle Luis de la Fuente's side will face in Germany, which will host the play-offs from 4-8 June 2025.

Didier Deschampsm's side confirmed their passage after beating Croatia, also on penalties. In the regulation 90 minutes, Dembelé and Olise equalised to level the match after a 2-0 first leg deficit

The last meeting with the French national team was in the semi-finals of the European Championships, where Spain got through thanks to goals from Lamine Yamal and Dani Olmo.

The other semi-final of the continental tournament will pit Germany, who beat Italy 5-4 on aggregate, against Portugal, who beat Denmark 5-2 on aggregate.
