La Cartuja beats its own attendance record with 32.657 spectators

10,801 more supporters came to watch the final than turned out at the same stadium just five days ago in the semi-final against the Netherlands.

Another demonstration that the Spanish national team has no limits. In sporting terms, we are running out of superlatives for a team that never stops making history. Since Spain won the 2023 World Cup in Sydney's Stadium Australia, the success of a team that has already gone down in history has not stopped coming. Furthermore, from an emotional point of view, more and more hearts are being won over by this group of players.

Just five days ago, on Friday 23 February 2023, the 21,856 spectators turned out at La Cartuja for the UEFA Women's Nations League semi-final to set a then new crowd record, one that has now been smashed.

Today, the Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville attracted 32,657 spectators. A spectacular figure that surpasses past records broken in Malaga, A Coruña, Pamplona and Cordoba over the past four years.

One more reason for the Spanish national team to celebrate after Nations League success in front of a capacity crowd. Thank you Seville; thank you Andalusia; thank you Spain.
