This Wednesday, 11 December, FIFA is holding an Extraordinary Congress that could become a historic day for Spanish football, as the meeting will make the final decision on the joint bid by Morocco, Portugal and Spain to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup™.

With an unprecedented score of 4.2 out of 5, the highest ever in FIFA's evaluation reports, the YallaVamos2030 bid combines exceptional facilities, top level player and fan accommodation, world-class infrastructure and a bid set to leave a lasting legacy for future generations. This achievement is the result of the collective efforts of the Moroccan, Portuguese and Spanish working groups, backed by the unwavering support of the institutions and governmental organisations involved, and the passion for football in all three countries.

Following this assessment, the official ratification of the FIFA Congress is now pending, which will be followed by numerous national, regional and local authorities at an event at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas (Madrid). This event, which can also be followed in sign language thanks to the inclusive work of the RFEF, will be broadcast live from 14:50 on the website rfef.es and the official Royal Spanish Football Federation social media channels.
