Live and work with joy! Víctor Küppers' message for the National Team

The players received a very special visit this afternoon at their base at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas.

It was a different kind of afternoon for the national team. The surprise came after training when the players and staff were treated to a talk on positive psychology by Victor Küppers, a doctor of Humanities.

The well-known lecturer addressed the entire squad to deliver several messages about confidence, motivation, enthusiasm and joy. A real master class to which the internationals listened attentively and have taken good note of his advice and inspirational phrases. Like the one he used to say goodbye, which the players applauded: ‘Enjoying is more important than winning and when you enjoy it, you win. A philosophy to put into practice as a team and one which was received with great enthusiasm.

At the end of the event, the players presented him with a shirt with the number 10 and his name, Küppers, on the back, which made him very emotional. Undoubtedly, talks like this make a difference. An afternoon that has surely left a reciprocal mark.
