The National Team arrive in Almendralejo

The team led by Montse Tomé has arrived in Badajoz. Tomorrow they will play at the Francisco de la Hera against Canada.

The National Team arrived this afternoon in Badajoz and then travelled to the town of Almendralejo where they will play their friendly match against Canada tomorrow, Friday.

This is the first match in the new preparation cycle for the 2025 European Championships in Switzerland, for which Spain is already qualified. The players, who have been in camp since last Monday, 21st October, left the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas at half-past four in the afternoon to head to Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport, where they boarded their flight to Badajoz airport at 17:40.

Upon arrival, dozens of adoring fans were waiting for them at the airport. After signing autographs and taking photos with those who had gathered, the team took a bus to Almendralejo.
