The captains of the National Team, Irene Paredes, Alexia Putellas, Mariona Caldentey and Olga Carmona, along with head coach Montse Tomé and the Director of Women’s Football, Reyes Bellver, met with various dignitaries from the Olympic Capital on the rooftop of their hotel in Lausanne.

The players presented four personalised Spain shirts to the Ambassador, María Celsa Nuño García; to the Deputy Mayor of Lausanne, Émilie Moeschler; to the Canton of Vaud’s International Sports Delegate from the Lausanne Olympic Capital Foundation, Cosima Deluermoz; and to the President of the Women’s Football Committee, Beatriz Pérez.

Following an emotional speech in which the Deputy Mayor of Lausanne welcomed the Spanish National Team and expressed her wishes that "this will be your home and that you feel the city as if it were your own", the players, the head coach, and Reyes Bellver were presented with several representative gifts from the region.

The most moving moment of the meeting was when Beatriz Pérez, as president of the Women’s Football Committee in Lausanne, presented a shirt signed during this morning’s open training session by 50 girls from a local club to the Spanish internationals, who received the gift with great affection.
