Montse Tomé has been delighted with the level that the players have been performing at for some time now. Looking back to the last match against Belgium, it was a team performance that left the coach feeling very positive: "The situation is very good and the team has many qualities. We are a hungry team who, once a game is over, are already thinking about what can be improved next time round".

Regarding Tuesday's opponent, the Czech Republic, coached by Karel Rada, Montse Tomé said: "We expect a team that is going to put in a well drilled performance. We know them well, I have faced them four times and we know their dangers. Their aerial play, especially with Stašková and Cahynová, is one of their main strengths".

Finally, regarding Adriana Nanclares, Montse Tomé acknowledged that "I know her well from the youth teams and her good performances at Athletic Club have opened doors to the senior team for her. Nanclares has earned her place here", she concluded.
For her part, María Méndez assured us that she is "going through wonderful moments with the national team and enjoying every training camp to the maximum".
Along the same lines as Montse Tomé, the Asturian centre-back emphasised the qualities of the Czech national team: "Every opponent demands a lot from you and every game is different. We are going into the match in the best possible way, with the maximum possible humility and knowing that it will be difficult, but with the excitement to go out there and take the three points and remain unbeaten".
