Facing them will be a very different French team to the one they faced in February, but the Spain squad are ready for this final game of 2024: ‘In that game, France had a different coach, they played differently. We know their game, we know that they are a great team individually, we have our weapons, and we're going to go out with everything we've got. It's a very good match to play and to showcase our players’ talents’.
A match that in the words of María Méndez ‘is going to be very hard-fought’ and that after beating them in the final ‘there is a bit of rivalry there’. However, they arrive with the firm intention of ending the year with a victory: ‘With the tremendous excitement of being able to close the year and dedicate it to the fans who have been cheering us on this year both at the Olympic Games and in the Nations’ league, also for us, for all the work we have done and for finishing this 2024 international training camp in the best possible way’.
💬 "Queremos cerrar bien el año. Va a ser un partido disputado y bonito".
