The Spanish national team once again made history just six months after reaching their seventh heaven in Sydney. The team coached by Montse Tomé has now qualified for the Olympic Games for the first time in their history.

In addition, the national team, after beating the Netherlands by three goals to nil, have reached another final, in this case the UEFA Women's Nations League.

The national team coach was extremely grateful to the more than 21,856 spectators who came to the Estadio de La Cartuja to cheer on the national team on another emotion-filled night that will go down in history.

Montse Tomé also wanted to send a message of encouragement and strength to all the families affected by the terrible fire in Valencia.
