Montse Tomé: "We have to continue with the same ambition"

Spain will face Denmark, Belgium and Czech Republic on their way to Euro 2025 in Switzerland

The national coach, Montse Tomé, has given a positive assessment of the draw held on Monday in Nyon (Switzerland).

Spain have been drawn alongside the Danes, Belgians and Czechs in a group stage to be played between April and July this year.

Montse Tomé acknowledged that "we are already thinking about Denmark, Belgium and the Czech Republic". Spain, recent winners of the World Cup and UEFA Women's Nations League, said that the team's achievements "are behind them and now it's time to focus on what comes next".

As well as the Olympic Games next summer, the national team have another exciting challenge on the horizon: the European Championships in Switzerland 2025. Montse Tomé said that the team "have to continue with the same ambition, desire and hard work" if they want to be among the 16 best teams on the continent and be able to get through to the European Championships to be held in Switzerland from 2 to 27 July 2025.
