Portuguese referee Gustavo Correia on the whistle for Spain - Andorra in Badajoz

The first Spanish National Team warm-up match before the European Championships in Germany is set to be played in Badajoz against Andorra and the encounter will have a Portuguese team of match officials. The on pitch referee is Gustavo Correia, who has been an international since 2018, the year in which he made his debut in a match between Belarus and France.

Correia has already had the experience of refereeing a Spain match, having acted as fourth official during the match played by the national team on 26 March against Brazil at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

On the sidelines will be Luciano Maia and Pedro Martins while Joao Gonçalves will act as fourth official. The match will be played on Wednesday 5 June at 21:30 at the Nuevo Vivero Stadium.
