QUALIFYING | Spain aim to take their place at the top of the table in the next round of matches

Spain will host Denmark in Murcia in the match between the only two remaining unbeaten teams in the group.

Sunday's brilliant away win over Switzerland in Geneva has given Spain their first victory in this latest edition of the UEFA Nations League, in which the national team are defending the title they won last year.

The national team are now second in their group after another win for Denmark, who beat Serbia in Copenhagen with goals from Albert Grønbæk and Yussuf Poulsen.

The Nordic side are Spain's next opponents on 12 October, Hispanic Day, at the Enrique Roca stadium in Murcia and a win for the national team on that day would catapult them to the top of the group.

In this year's UEFA Nations League the top two teams from each group advance to the quarter-final play-offs in March of next year.
