Ready for the grand final

The Spanish national football team are ready for a new challenge. Montse Tomé's side trained at the venue before Wednesday's match against Hervé Renard's side.

The national team trained at 18:45 with all 25 players available. Before the training session, the national coach and one of the captains of the World Cup winners, Jenni Hermoso, appeared in the press room in front of around a hundred journalists.

The Spanish national team, who saw off the Netherlands in the semi-finals, will face France in the final, an opponent against whom Spain have never won at senior level. The French, meanwhile, beat Germany by two goals to one. Yet another challenge for a team that does nothing but smash its own glass ceilings and dream, dream big.
