Spain all smiles with their supporters at the start of the road to Euro 2024

As the old saying goes, you can always go further if you travel with company, and on Monday the national team set off on the road to the European Championships with the enthusiastic backing of their ever-loyal fans.

Hundreds of fans filled the stands of the main pitch at the Ciudad del Fútbol to watch Spain's first training session in their preparations for the finals.

23 players took part in a session preceded by input from coach Luis de la Fuente and added to by the continuous words of encouragement from the fans, who displayed their flags, T-shirts and banners in support of the internationals.

After the work on the pitch, all the players were able to share the moment with the fans, who were able to take photos and get autographs from their idols.

Spain will resume training on Sunday afternoon and will continue working at the Ciudad del Fútbol until next Tuesday, when the expedition will travel to Badajoz to play the first of two warm-up matches at the Nuevo Vivero stadium before their European Championships opener.
