With their place in the Nations League final four secured, Spain have also climbed up a position in the FIFA rankings published on 3rd April. The rankings include 210 national teams.
The national team has now reached 1,854.64 points, overtaking France and moving up to 2nd place in the world, behind only Argentina.

In just two years, after winning the Nations League in 2023 and the European Championships in 2024, Spain have risen from 10th to 2nd place, a position they had not held since 2014.
