Spain Women’s National Team settled in Santa Cruz de Tenerife
After yesterday's away victory over Denmark at the Vejle Stadion, the Spanish national team today set off for Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where they are now preparing for Tuesday's match at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López. On the ever-sunny Canary Island, the fans will no doubt give the team a warm welcome for what is a very special match in which Spain have the chance to secure their qualification for next year’s Euros in Switzerland.
Denmark will once again be Spain's opponents (21:30 peninsular time), so the squad already know what they are up against and will hope to go out with the same intensity as in the first match, as Montse Tomé assured in her post-match interviews. The group have already held their first training session behind closed doors in Tenerife this evening at 18.30.
