Spanish players make up 5 of the list of 30 players in the running to become the best player of 2024 in the shape of Aitana Bonmatí, Salma Paralluelo and Alexia, Mariona and Patri.
The 68th edition of the Ballon d'Or gala will take place tonight and will bring together the best female footballers in the world at the Théâtre Chatelet in Paris.
The last three editions of this prestigious award have been won by Spanish players: Alexia Putellas (2021, 2022) and Aitana Bonmatí last year.
