Spanish football has once again demonstrated its solidarity with the victims of the storms and has decided to create a crisis committee made up of the RFEF, LALIGA, Liga F, the Valencian Football Federation, whose territory has been the most affected, and the Football Federation of Castilla La Mancha to analyse the damage to the sports infrastructure where football is played, to collaborate in its reconstruction and to provide all possible support in the area. In this sense, material and personal support will be offered to clubs and sports institutions.

At the moment, the priority is the search for the missing and the care of thousands of families who have lost everything. For this reason, the Committee will assess the damage to sports facilities where football is played, once the situation has returned to a minimum of normality. It is currently known that, at least for the moment, 105 football and futsal facilities have been affected.

This work will be set in motion by the presidents of the Valencian Football Federation, Salvador Gomar, and the Castilla La Mancha Federation, Pablo Burillo, to help the victims of this catastrophe, offering their support in any way possible, within the field of football.

Taking into account the social function of this sport, it is the desire of Spanish football to give something back to the teams and create the excitement of continuing with their football, to support all the sportsmen and women so that they can play again and to help the affected people to recover some normality as soon as possible.
