The final of UEFA Women's Nations League brings together leading sporting and political heads
The match made history for two reasons. Spain's victory in the first edition of the tournament and a new attendance record for a national team match.
The Estadio La Cartuja brought together the main sporting and political authorities from all institutional levels on Wednesday for the UEFA Women's Nations League final between Spain and France.
UEFA President Alexander Čeferin was present at this decisive match, as well as the Minister of Education, Vocational Training and Sport, Pilar Alegría; the president of the Andalusian Regional Government, Juan Moreno Bonilla; the president of the RFEF Management Committee, Pedro Rocha; the president of the CSD, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes; and the First Deputy Mayor of Seville City Council, Minerva Salas.
The Spanish national team won the title in this first edition of the UEFA Women's Nations League after a 2-0 victory against France in a match that has already gone down in history for having set a new attendance record for a match involving our national team. La Cartuja broke its own record set last week and set a new benchmark for success in the women’s game: 32,657 spectators.
