Received by the mascot Tazuni after a journey of over 17,000 kilometers and with tons of excitement, the Spanish Women's National Team has landed around nine in the morning on Saturday (Friday night in the Iberian Peninsula) in the New Zealand city of Auckland, where they will continue their preparation for the World Cup.

After defeating Denmark on Wednesday in the second pre-tournament match, players and coaching staff have arrived in the Antipodes after a journey that started in Copenhagen and, with layovers in Paris and Seoul, has taken the expedition to the most populous city in New Zealand, where they will stay until the next Saturday, July 15.

During the Saturday afternoon in Auckland, Spain plans to start their work on the pitch, with a training match still ahead against Vietnam on Friday, July 14.

With their debut scheduled for Friday, July 21 against Costa Rica in Wellington, the team will have their headquarters for most of the tournament in the New Zealand city of Palmerston North, which in this southern winter will serve as a true home for our international players.
