The manager sets a record for debutants in a match

With Fran García, Bryan Zaragoza, and Oihan Sancet, a total of eight players have made their debut this year under the guidance of Luis de la Fuente.

Never before had Luis de la Fuente introduced three debutant players in a single match since the beginning of his tenure as the national team's manager.

This Thursday, October 12 at La Cartuja in Seville, the manager broke his personal record in a match where Spain secured a crucial victory during the second half against Scotland.

Born 24 years ago in the town of Bolaños de Calatrava in La Mancha, Francisco José García Torres has represented Spain at all levels, and he was part of the team that clinched the UEFA Nations League title last  summer.

Finally, this Thursday, he made his debut with the senior team, playing as the left-back throughout the second half of the match against Scotland in Seville.

Joining Fran García on the field was Bryan Zaragoza Martínez from Málaga. At 22 years old, he made his debut wearing the national team's shirt, showcasing his quality and flair on the left wing.

Moreover, Oihan Sancet Tirapu from Navarre achieved, just like Joselu in Málaga, his debut with a goal. The 23-year-old midfielder from Pamplona accomplished this in the final stretch, capitalizing on a pass from Ferran Torres from the right-hand side.
