The national team arrive in Switzerland

The national team are set to play their second match of the current edition of the UEFA Nations League this Sunday in Geneva.

Minutes after nine o'clock in the evening (Spanish peninsular time) on Friday 6 September, the Iberia plane carrying the national team touched down at Geneva International Airport after a two-hour flight from Belgrade.

The players and coaching staff have then got settled in at their base camp in the Swiss city with a total of 24 players in the squad after the departure on Wednesday of the injured Mikel Oyarzabal.

The national team will return to training on Saturday afternoon to prepare for their second and final match of the current international window.

Refereed by Bosnian referee Irfan Peljto, Switzerland and Spain meet on Sunday at 20.45 with live coverage on La1 in the second matchday for both teams in this edition of the UEFA Nations League.
