The Palacio de Vistalegre pays tribute to our champions

Wild celebrations mark the first UEFA Women's Nations League title in history

Palacio de Vistalegre opened its doors at 17:00 to welcome fans to celebrate the UEFA Women's Nations League title together with their champions.

In the build up to the event there was a constant stream of people flowing towards Matilde Hernández street, where everyone wanted to get a close-up view of the stars who have once again made history, this time at  Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville.

The party got off to a start in the early evening at Vistalegre. At 17:30, it was time to enjoy the first live performance by MARLENA. Afterwards, DJ Michenlo entertained the fans gathered at the Palacio.

The moment everyone had been waiting for was getting closer, but there was still time for two more musical performances that got the crowd at Palacio de Vistalegre absolutely buzzing, these acts came in the form of Delaporte and Elena Farga, the singer of the national team's unofficial anthem at the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

A few minutes after 19:00, the big moment finally came:

One by one, all the internationals took to the stage to a rapturous welcome from the fans waiting for them at the Palacio. The climax came with the appearance of the four captains and the UEFA Women's Nations League trophy, carried by Jenni Hermoso and raised into the air for all those in attendance to savour the magic moment.

Then came the much-awaited moment speeches. Coach, Montse Tomé, and the captain, Irene Paredes, thanked the fans for their support and urged them to continue supporting the team in the next challenges on the horizon:

MARLENA and Elena Farga would return to the stage to sing their songs alongside the UEFA Women's Nations League champions and give the Vistalegre audience a dramatic finish, with Queen's 'We Are the Champions' as the climax.
