The RFEF strengthens collaboration with authorities in Miami to boost Spanish football
Rafael Louzán held meetings with the county mayor and the city's mayor
The Royal Spanish Football Federation has initiated a series of meetings to strengthen collaboration with the Miami authorities, aiming to enhance the all aspects of Spanish football.
As such, the president of the RFEF, Rafael Louzán, met with the mayor of Miami-Dade County, an area where there are over 500 Spanish companies and more than 100,000 Spanish residents.
During the meeting, held at the Miami-Dade headquarters, Daniella Levine, the county mayor, highlighted the strong relationship with Spain and the city's clear commitment to sporting events. For his part, Louzán expressed his willingness to opening new avenues of collaboration to foster fans’ and busines internet in Spanish football.
Subsequently, the RFEF president travelled to Miami City Hall, whose head, Francis X. Suárez, a councillor with ties to the sports world, emphasised Miami's openness to hosting initiatives in this field.
The RFEF president concluded his scheduled institutional meetings for these days, held in conjunction with the FIFA Summit taking place on Thursday and Friday in the US city. This was all before heading to the Hard Rock Stadium, where the Club World Cup match between Real Madrid CF and Al-Hilal was played.
