The Spanish National Team bathes in Tenerife support upon arrival
At 20 minutes to ten on Saturday night (Spanish peninsular time), the plane carrying the national team touched down at Tenerife Norte-Ciudad de La Laguna airport after a five-and-a-half hour flight from Copenhagen, where the team had secured a brilliant victory on Friday to secure top spot for Spain in their UEFA Nations League group.
Hundreds of fans welcomed the internationals at the airport and signed their first autographs on their return to Spain for their final match of the year in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on Monday.
