The Spanish Super Cup to also be for non-professional football
The Royal Spanish Football Federation has offered the men's and women's clubs from the First, Second and Third RFEF divisions to attend a tournament whose funding is primarily invested in non-professional football.
As part of the new policy of transparency, collaboration and dialogue generated by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) in this new phase, a further step has been taken in this direction and a total of 46 places have been made available for representatives of clubs playing in non-professional tournaments.
The aim is to gain first-hand knowledge of the work carried out by the RFEF in the organisation of the Spanish Super Cup, most of the revenue from which goes to these clubs, to generate synergies and to showcase the protagonists of the RFEF's First, Second and Third divisions.
As such, a draw has been made among those clubs interested in taking a representation of all the non-professional football groups to Saudi Arabia, the country that will host the Spanish Super Cup.
In addition, the RFEF has also wanted to promote interaction between the employees of this institution and, apart from the staff who will travel to organise this competition, workers from other departments will come, after a draw, to find out how this tournament is developed.
