The unbeatable defence against the unstoppable goalscorers for a chance to make history

Real Sociedad and RCD Mallorca meet in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final on Tuesday.

The best knockout competition in Spanish football will determine its first finalist on Tuesday night..

Real Sociedad and RCD Mallorca are hoping to reach La Cartuja in Seville on 6 April, but first they will have to overcome the last hurdle at Anoeta (21:30 Iberian Peninsula time, live on La1 and Movistar), where the goalless draw in the first leg makes the outcome even more uncertain

You can enjoy the goals, find out the line-ups, read the match reports or listen to the stars’ post match interviews across the RFEF's official media and on its X account.

Without the away goals rule being in play, only a win for either the Northerners or the Balearic Islanders will secure their place in the final, with extra time or penalties to decide the outcome of the tie in the event of a stalemate after 90 minutes.

Check out all the information on the two semi-finals in the match previews.

Imanol Alguacil will certainly be without Álvaro Odriozola, Aihen Muñoz and Carlos Fernández, while Aritz Elustondo, Ander Barrenetxea and Mikel Oyarzabal are doubts for match against RCD Mallorca, whose only absentee is Pablo Maffeo. They can also count on Antonio Raíllo, who returns after being suspended for the first leg.

Jesús Gil Manzano will officiate with Ángel Nevado Rodríguez and Javier Martínez Nicolás as assistant referees, Valentín Pizarro Gómez as VAR and Santiago Jaime Latre as assistant referee in the VOR studio.

It will also be a clash between the competition's best defence and its top scorers.

Real Sociedad have conceded just once in six games. Celtic's Luca de la Torre was the only one to score against the Guipuzcoans, in extra time at Balaídos and with the score level in favour of Imanol's side, who have also shown great strength at the back and in attack from set-pieces.

RCD Mallorca have also stood out for their strength at the back, conceding just two goals in the quarter-final against Girona FC, while playing with only ten players on the pitch.

In addition, Javier Aguirre's side can count on the goal contributions of Abdón Prats, top scorer in this edition of the Copa del Rey with six goals, along with Asier Villalibre and the Greek forward Anastasios Douvikas.

All these ingredients are more than enough to produce a second leg to look forward to between these two former champions in a tournament with more than 120 years of history and that will give fans of one of these teams the chance to enjoy a festival of football at the final on 6 April in Seville at La Cartuja.
