The Spanish National Football Team’s final training session of the year was the most special of the season. With charity and solidarity as their guiding principle, aiming to support those affected by the storms, Luis de la Fuente’s squad held an open from start-to-finish session for fans and media alike. The Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium shone in all its glory as it welcomed the reigning European champions, who were cheered throughout the hour-long session.

Pre-match training sessions are usually closed to supporters due to their tactical nature, but this occasion was an exception. The people of Tenerife rallied around the team and showed their support for the flood victims from the stands.

This Monday, 18th November, the Canary Islanders have another golden opportunity to support Spain—this time during the proper match, the final one of the year, against Switzerland.

Throughout the evening session, the RFEF streamed the training live on the national team’s official channels, offering numerous surprises, including interviews with Ayoze Pérez’s parents.
