The alliance between a symbol of the Spanish automotive industry and the National Team was showcased at the Ebro sponsorship presentation event, which took place this midday at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. The event with the new Spanish National Team sponsorship partner featured the presence of Unai Simón and Dani Olmo, two of the internationals currently in training with Spain ahead of the UEFA Nations League Final Four.

"If we've managed to win the titles we've secured in recent years, it's because we've always worked as a team, we've been united in both good times and bad. To get close to winning, we all have to work like clockwork, like the team at Ebro," said Unai Simón about the partnership. Olmo agreed with his National Team teammate: "Having sponsors who share the philosophy we try to instil both within and outside the team is very important."

The protagonists used the event to review the current state of the National Team from a sporting perspective. Regarding the different generations and age gaps within the squad, Olmo stated that "it's a good mix, we have a very healthy group where everyone contributes their bit and we all move as one." He spoke about Lamine: "At the end of the day, he's a normal kid with personality. There's no need to manage him, he's got his head in place and feet firmly on the ground, he knows that by working hard and sticking with the team we can achieve great things, and that's what we've done. He's calm, hardworking, and eager to keep growing and improving."

Unai Simón, for his part, welcomed Isco: "He's been one of the best players at Betis this season, and of course he's good enough to be with us. Today was the first time I trained with him and it's surprising to see him up close, that style of play and the calmness he transmits."

Regarding the next match against France, Dani Olmo said they are more than ready: "We have to win, we're motivated and preparing for the match, we had good feelings against them at the last Euros, and although they’ll surely be hungry for revenge, we’re ready for them."

In addition to the two players, the event was attended by Manuel Lalinde, General Director of the RFEF, and Pedro Calef, CEO of EBRO Motors. “If there’s one thing that characterises the Spanish National Team, it’s that it puts people first, the team above individuals. Like EBRO, it knows that when we are united, we move forward and achieve great things. This is everyone’s team,” said Calef.

For his part, Lalinde expressed the RFEF’s gratitude for Ebro’s trust in the National Team brand: “Ebro represents values such as effort, sacrifice, and hard work, and like our National Teams, it has known how to grow, innovate and, above all, remain true to its roots. That’s something we value highly, and for that reason, from the RFEF, we want to welcome them. We believe this will be the beginning of a long journey full of success.”

The agreement signed last May at the Ciudad del Fútbol between the president of the RFEF, Rafael Louzán, and the CEO of Ebro, Pedro Calef, makes the Spanish brand the official vehicle of the National Team until August 2028 (extendable until 2030), covering major tournaments such as this summer’s Women’s Euro in Switzerland, next year’s Men’s World Cup, the 2027 Women’s World Cup, or the Under-21 European Championships, among other major international sporting events.
