It will not be the same 22 players who were part of the starting line up in Soccer City, but there will be very similar sensations to those of that day at the National Team's debut in Brazil 2014. It will take place on June 13th 2014, when the Spanish side starts their competition, exactly a day after the first match round.
The match between Spain and the Netherlands will be the third to take place at the World Cup. Del Bosque's men will debut after four national teams have already done so, Brazil and Croatia in the innaugural match in Sao Paulo on the 12th and 13th, but at 1pm local tme, Mexico and Cameroon will play in Natal.
Spain will play at 4pm local time in Salvador de Bahía, 9pm for Central European Time.
Until then, Spain has a friendly set up against the Italian national side in Vicente Calderón in Madrid on March 5th. Afterwards, Vicente del Bosque will give the call up list of 23 players.
