3rd Round Draw for the Copa del Rey MAPFRE to Take Place on Monday, 9 December
The event will be broadcast live from 13:00 CET on Teledeporte, the Vamos channel on Movistar+, and the official RFEF platforms.
The event of the final Copa del Rey MAPFRE draw of 2024 and the first to include the four teams participating in the Spanish Super Cup.
Athletic Club, Real Madrid CF, RCD Mallorca, and FC Barcelona will join the competition on Monday, 9 December, when the draw for the 3rd Round of Spain's oldest football competition takes place at 13:00 CET.
The draw will feature the 28 teams that advance from the second round, alongside the four Spanish Super Cup participants. The 3rd Round matches are set to be played over the first weekend of the new year.
The Luis Aragonés Assembly Hall at the City of Football will host the draw. The 28 teams progressing from the second round (played between Tuesday and Thursday this week) will take part in the event.
As with previous rounds, the second-round ties are one-off matches. The winners will move on to the 3rd Round, which will also be decided by a single-legged ties, with matches taking place on 3, 4 and 5 January. In keeping with tradition, the lower-ranked team will be the home team.
The draw on 9 December will be broadcast live on Teledeporte, the Vamos channel on Movistar+, and the Royal Spanish Football Federation official platforms.
