RFEF president Rafael Louzán attended the UEFA Executive Committee meeting held today in Brussels and will also be present at the 50th UEFA Congress taking place tomorrow in the Belgian capital, ahead of the draw for the 2026/27 Nations League.

At the Executive Committee, chaired by Alexander Čeferin, members reviewed reports from various committees, referee agreements and prize matters, as well as regulations. They also discussed upcoming EXCO meetings and future UEFA Congresses scheduled for 2027 and 2028.

At the start of the session, an agreement between UEFA, European Football Clubs (EFC) and Real Madrid CF was announced in the interest of European club football. The deal is set to resolve existing disputes surrounding the Super League project.

This spirit of agreement aligns with the approach adopted in the new era of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, where consensus and dialogue have guided its actions in order to unify Spanish football, as president Rafael Louzán has reiterated on numerous occasions.

Tomorrow will see the UEFA Congress take place ahead of the Nations League draw, with head coach Luis de la Fuente and national team director Aitor Karanka joining the president in attendance.
