Rafael Louzán and Jon Uriarte meet ahead of the first Spanish Super Cup semifinal
The president of the RFEF continues his round of meetings with the clubs taking part in the tournament.
Athletic Club’s team hotel in Jeddah, located on the shores of the Red Sea, hosted a meeting this Wednesday between RFEF president Rafael Louzán and Athletic Club chairman Jon Uriarte.
The meeting forms part of the series of talks the RFEF president is holding with the four clubs competing in this edition of the Supercopa de España. After meeting with FC Barcelona, the round will conclude on Thursday with meetings with Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid.
Alongside Rafael Louzán, those in attendance included the federation’s secretary general, Álvaro de Miguel; the technical director of Development and the senior national team, Aitor Karanka; the president of the Referees’ Technical Committee, Fran Soto; and RFEF general director Manuel Lalinde.
Athletic Club, winners of the 2021 Spanish Super Cup, will face FC Barcelona this Wednesday at 10:00 p.m. CET at Jeddah’s Alinma Stadium in the first semifinal of this new and exciting edition of the tournament.
