On the occasion of the Spanish Super Cup being held in Jeddah, the Royal Spanish Football Federation, through its president Rafael Louzán, arranged courtesy meetings with the four clubs taking part in the competition. On Thursday in Jeddah, it was the turn of the clubs contesting the second semifinal of the tournament: Real Madrid CF and Club Atlético de Madrid.

Rafael Louzán, accompanied by RFEF secretary general Álvaro de Miguel, the president of the Referees’ Technical Committee, Fran Soto, and RFEF general director Manuel Lalinde, visited the Real Madrid CF team hotel, where they were received by the club’s director of institutional relations, Emilio Butragueño.

Later, the RFEF president met with Atlético de Madrid officials at the club’s team hotel, where he held talks with club president Enrique Cerezo.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation has thus taken advantage of the Spanish Super Cup to strengthen and expand channels of dialogue with professional clubs in Spanish football.
