Aitana Bonmatí continues to demonstrate her quality wearing the Spanish National Team shirt. Against Switzerland, the national team displayed the champions' star in Spain for the first time, and they did it with a record number of fans. "We were already looking forward to celebrating the World Cup with our fans and seeing full stadiums in our country as well. I hope this is just the beginning and that more and more people will come to watch us. It's a pleasure," said Aitana after the match.

Spain is now at the top of their group in the Nations League thanks to the thrashing of Switzerland. In the game, Bonmatí scored two goals, just like in the previous match against the Swiss in the World Cup round of 16. However, Aitana prefers to focus on the collective effort beyond the goals: "I always try to contribute to the team as much as possible, whether it's defending, attacking, or scoring goals. We've already secured six points in this Nations League, and that was our goal."

After the match, the Catalan footballer approached the stands, still filled with boys and girls, and signed shirts, flags, photos, and banners. In particular, she noticed a young girl with a special message on a banner, and Aitana wanted to reciprocate: "It's an honor to be role models for many people. We must thank all those people who come to cheer us on. I saw a girl with a banner asking for my shirt, please, and what else can you do... you have to give back to the fans all the love they give us."
