Cata Coll, María Méndez and Laia Codina embraced by fans in Almendralejo.

The Spain internationals received the affection of more than thirty children who came to their team hotel.

Faces of excitement and shouts of joy were the main story today at the meeting that Cata Coll, Laia Codina and Maria Mendez had with children from different football clubs in the area at the hotel in Almendralejo where the national team is staying. Today, these kids were made that little bit happier.

Impossible to forget is the face of a little girl who got her idol's autograph or the smile of a little boy who has just had his photo taken with his favourite player. Neither Laia, Cata nor María are sure to forget a morning in which they talked to their fans and shared some very special moments with them. The internationals have absorbed the embraces and affection of the Badajoz fans and will now share with the rest of the squad.

This morning of 25 October will be memorable for all those who have been able to meet these three players in person and this group photo will be witness to many dreams fulfilled. In the evening, thanks to the invaluable help of the Junta de Extremadura and the Almendralejo City Council, they will be able to put the icing on the cake of an unforgettable day.
