OFFICIAL | Montse Tomé’s announces her squad for the European Championships in Switzerland

A unique voice for a unique moment: the unveiling of the final squad for the European Championships in Switzerland, which will take place from 2 to 27 July. Vero Boquete, a role model and pioneer in women’s football, the first Spanish player nominated for the Ballon d’Or and the first Spaniard to win a Champions League, was  entrusted with contributing the emotion to a carefully crafted video, created with the same dedication and hard work that has gone into preparing this squad to win.

The players, transformed into table football figures on a meticulously carved table football table, were placed in their positions to form the team that, led by Montse Tomé and her coaching staff, will defend Spain’s colours at the European Championships. From those early years, in which Vero Boquete and so many other trailblazers began to pave the way, Spanish women’s football has been shaped and refined through great effort, becoming the figures they are now, donning the Spanish National Team colours in their quest for success. In the same way, each of these table football figures was crafted in their likeness, with attention to detail and care, to bring the players called up to life.
