Pre-match training at Wembley complete
Spain have already set foot on the pitch at the imposing Wembley stadium where, in just under 24 hours' time, they will take on England in the second UEFA Women's Nations League group stage. Under the orders of Montse Tomé, the national team carried out the official pre-match training session on the playing surface of the famous stadium, fine-tuning the final details ahead of the clash against England.
The national team will be looking to defend their lead in group A3 against Sarina Wiegman's team, who drew 1-1 against Portugal in their first match. Spain are to face the team they beat in the final of the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand and as the final act of their preparations they prepared physically, technically and tactically so as to cover everything their opponents might throw at them.
