The presentation of the champions’ trophies to Madrid captain Inés Pascual and her teammate Hugo Miguel by RFEF President Rafael Louzán marked the high point of this major celebration of grassroots football at the Ciudad del Fútbol.

Louzán closely followed this tournament, contested by 19 regional teams and kicking off on Friday, the 11th of April, with the RFEF’s top official present for the matches held on the pitches of the Ernesto Cotorruelo facilities in the Spanish capital.

On Sunday, Louzán presided over the final matches, which saw the Community of Madrid triumph in both the girls' and boys' categories — the girls defeating Andalusia 2–1, and the boys edging out the Basque Country in a penalty shootout.

Accompanied by representatives from the regional federations, the RFEF President highlighted the value of the tournament during the television broadcast, describing it as “a celebration and the seed of our football’s future,” while also commending the exemplary efforts of all participating teams.

Over the course of three days, the Ciudad del Fútbol and the grounds of the Madrid Football Federation hosted 86 matches played by the 19 regional teams from across the country in a championship that brought together more than 500 boys and girls aged 10 to 12 — young talents destined to shape the future of the beautiful game.
