Rafael Louzán presides over the meeting of the commission of presidents of regional federations
During Thursday's meeting, the current state of Spanish football was analysed, and strategic actions to be carried out by the RFEF in the coming months were discussed.
At the helm of the highest authorities of the nineteen regional federations, the president of the RFEF, Rafael Louzán, led his first such meeting of this kind on Thursday at the Ciudad del Fútbol, since his election to the role on December 16th.
During the meeting, Louzán provided a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the RFEF, covering various issues such as commercial, legal, property, logistical, and regulatory compliance matters.
Additionally, the changes implemented in recent weeks were reviewed at an organisational level, in departments such as the coaching committee and brand development. Proposals were put forward for the standardisation of criteria regarding licences and the reform of the RFEF's own regulations.
Competition-related topics took up much of the meeting, with a period for listening to ideas on how to improve the different men’s and women’s competitions.
Finally, in line with what he has expressed since taking office just over a hundred days ago, Rafael Louzán reiterated his commitment to driving the digital transformation of the RFEF, proposing an ambitious programme of change and modernisation that will benefit the governing body of Spanish football more generally.
