Eastern Flames and Al Riahd players attend the RFEF’s executive "Box 0", an initiative that promotes social causes. They appeared next to a large poster of the campaign  “Football is the way / #Football is coming” that was displayed at Al-Awwal Park for the final of this competition.

Saudi Arabian coaches and footballers have played a leading role in raising the profile of women's football and its recent progress during the Spanish Super Cup matches, as part of the campaign organised by the RFEF to give a voice to the progress of this sport as a tool for social change.

As such, athletes from the women's clubs Eastern Flames and Al-Riyadh were the stars of the Box 0 organised at the Al Awwal Park stadium, an initiative that aims to make social causes visible and in this case, the importance that the progress of women's football is having in this country.

The stadium that hosted the final of the Spanish Super Cup on Sunday also displayed a poster for the campaign“Football is the way / #Football is coming” that the RFEF's Department of Equality and Sustainability launched to mark the occasion of this competition in Saudi Arabia.

Among other events, on and off pitch workshops were held in Jeddah and Riyadh led by the national coach, Montse Tomé, together with the RFEF Training School and motivational talks, such as the one given by Thais Henríquez.
